Police investigate liquor store robbery on Family Day

Grande Prairie RCMP are investigating a Family Day liquor store robbery in the city.

It happened yesterday around 8:30 p.m.  Police say an unknown male entered the store wearing a mask and demanded money. He took off with an undisclosed amount of cash.  At that time a second male entered the store.  Both males were seen fleeing in a small blue/purple SUV.

Suspect 1 is described as:

Caucasian
Approximately 35 years old
180 lbs
Under 6’0 tall
Dark hair
Dark eyes
Wearing black overalls
Grey hooded sweatshirt
Black Volcom hat

Suspect 2 is described as:

Caucasian
Approximately 50-65 years old
5’5 – 5’7
short grey facial hair
Wearing blue coveralls
A grey or beige jacket
Black toque
