Ninth anniversary of the disappearance of Jody Hockett

Local RCMP are once again reaching out to the public in hopes of finding a missing woman.

It is the ninth anniversary of the disappearance of Jody Hockett who last seen getting into a white vehicle outside of the Grande Prairie York Hotel.

At the time of her disappearance, Hockett was 33-years-old and also used the names “Jody Smith”, “Jodi” or “Jessie”.

RCMP say her family is looking for closure after years of searching.

She is described as:

         -Caucasian
         -Dyed strawberry blonde hair
        – blue eyes
         -5’5
         -Wearing jeans, tank top, black zip-up sweatshirt with hood, high heeled shoes with fur on them
