Passenger charged after RCMP vehicle rammed, driver at large
Local RCMP are looking for the driver of a stolen truck after police say one of their vehicles was intentionally run into during a traffic stop.
On February 26, 2018, just before 1 a.m. RCMP tried to stop a Ford F350 at a downtown hotel parking lot.
Police say the driver of the truck quickly and intentionally reversed into the police vehicle causing significant damage.
The truck turned out to be stolen. It was later located in the south part of town. Officers were able to track the female passenger with help from Police Dog Services and she was arrested.
