Suspect with ties to GP wanted in Ontario attack turns himself in
A man with ties to Grande Prairie has surrendered to police in Ontario almost two weeks after a man with autism was attacked while sitting in a Toronto-area bus terminal.
Twenty-five-year-old Ronjot Singh Dahmi, who is also facing drug charges in Grande Prairie, gave himself up this morning and is facing one count of aggravated assault.
Peel Regional Police arrested 21-year-old Parmvir Singh Chahil in Windsor, Ontario, on Friday and he is also facing a charge of aggravated assault.
A third man is still wanted for the attack that was caught on video and shows three people punching and kicking a man who was sitting alone at the bus terminal and then walking away, leaving the victim with a broken nose and cuts to his face.
