A group wanting to run a graphic anti-abortion ad on transit buses has seen its appeal dismissed by Alberta’s top court.
The Canadian Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform had wanted to run the ad on buses in Grande Prairie.
But the Court of Appeal sided with a lower court ruling that said the city had the right to refuse the ad, despite the group’s argument that it was freedom of expression.
The proposed ad included pictures of fetuses with the phrases “abortion kills children” and “end the killing.”
