Early morning fire causes moderate damage

No one was hurt after a fire early this morning started in the garage of a home and extended through the attic space and into the residence.

The Grande Prairie Fire Department was called to the fire just before 4 a.m. in the area of 102 Street and 103 Avenue.

The fire department says the fire caused moderate damage to the garage.  

No word yet on what sparked the blaze.
