Stompede crew happy with how the 41st edition went
Stompede 41 is in the books and organizers are very pleased with the attendance and overall community response.
“Things went really well this year,” said Stompede Association President Trevor Denis Monday after the event wrapped. I’m quite happy with the turnout from the community.”
New additions were added this year including the Alberta Mountain Shooters, which Denis said the rodeo crowd really enjoyed. The Arts and Culture Expo was “absolutely amazing” according to Denis. He says there was a lot of local talent they were really proud to showcase. And a large crowd showed up Friday at the revealing of Kelly Sutherland Way.
The official total hasn’t been tallied yet, but Denis believes they’re on track to beat last year’s numbers.
