19-year-old man charged after search warrant executed in Grande Prairie

A 19-year-old Grande Prairie man is facing charges after a drug seizure late last week.
 
Police seized 130 grams of cocaine, 17 grams of marijuana, and more than $15,000 cash during a search of a Swan City home Friday.
 
Tyler Dentzein is facing charges that include possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of the proceeds of crime.
 
He is due in court Monday, June 25. 

Grande Prairie’s RCMP Drug Unit, Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team, and Police Dog Services helped execute the search warrant. 

In a media release, RCMP says they are “committed to increasing community safety by using a crime reduction strategy that focuses on identifying repeat offenders, gathering intelligence and conducting enforcement initiatives”.
