Wildfire danger at high in Grande Prairie Forest Area

The Grande Prairie Forest Area wildfire danger is sitting at high as of Tuesday afternoon.
According to the province, the recent warm and windy weather is contributing to an increased fire danger for our area. This wildfire season there have been 35 fires in the area that have burned 13 hectares.
Smoke from Wildfires burning in British Columbia is drifting into our forest area today causing smoke and hazy conditions. They say to expect smoke for the next few days.
