Man shot at Evergreen Park campground

A 62-year-old man remains in stable condition after being shot Tuesday morning in Evergreen Park.

RCMP were called the campground south of Grande Prairie on August 14 at about 5:49 a.m. and when they arrived, a male was inside a trailer with a single gunshot wound. He was transported to hospital.

Police and the Grande Prairie General Investigation Section are looking into the incident. 

RCMP believe this was not a random act and there is no additional risk to public safety.
