RCMP looking to identify owner of dark coloured truck after recent shooting

Grande Prairie RCMP are looking to identify the owner of a dark coloured truck that was spotted in the area of Evergreen Park around the same time as a shooting that took place at a campground there last week.

RCMP were called the campground south of Grande Prairie on August 14 at about 5:49 a.m. and when they arrived, a male was inside a trailer with a single gunshot wound. The 62-year-old was taken to hospital in stable condition.

RCMP believe this was not a random act and there is no additional risk to public safety. 

Police now say a dark coloured truck was noticed in the area at the time of the shooting.
