Collision under investigation after power outages in Grande Prairie

Police are investigating a collision that resulted in power outages in Grande Prairie this morning.
 
Grande Prairie RCMP was called to a single vehicle collision on 100 Street and 73 Avenue at about 2:51 a.m.
 
Police say a truck was travelling on 100 Street when it collided with a power pole. RCMP say the truck then continued through multiple wooden posts in Muskoseepi Park, crossed a walking trail and went into the trees.
 
A 36-year-old man was the only occupant in the vehicle and was uninjured.
 
Power was out for several hours due to the collision.
