RCMP are looking for a man they say broke into a ground floor apartment on Poplar Drive, took the tenant’s wallet and took off.

Police say it happened around 9:30 the morning of August 6.  A 65-year-old woman woke up to a man she did not know in her apartment.  He reportedly snatched her wallet and then left.

The Police Dog Service was called in, but the man could not be located.

He is described as:

  • Male, approximately 19 or 20 years old
  • Dark complexion
  • Black/brown shoulder length hair
  • Beard with moustache
  • Approximately 5’5″
  • Slender build
  • Wearing a white t-shirt with a circular silver design, possibly a peace symbol or knot
