Semi rollover causes delays on Highway 43 near DeBolt

Update (5:37 p.m.): According to Grande Prairie RCMP, the driver of the truck was transported to the hospital via STARS with serious injuries.

Westbound lanes are expected to be clear early this evening, but crews will be at the scene cleaning up debris.

Motorists travelling in the area of Highway 43 and Range Road 13 are asked to use a different route if possible.

(5:10 p.m.) There is a semi-truck rolled over in the ditch on Highway 43 just west of DeBolt.

Callers to our newsroom tell us fire trucks and emergency services are on-scene. Westbound traffic is moving slowly.

Around 4 p.m. STARS was dispatched to the scene.
