Man dead after BC Peace crash

Sep 17, 2018 | 2:47 PM

RCMP in the BC Peace are asking drivers and passengers to wear their seat belts after a fatal crash near Wonowon.

Police say a car rolled Sunday night around 8 p.m. while traveling on a road three kilometres from the Alaska Highway.

The passenger, a 32-year-old man, was killed after being thrown from the vehicle.

The 41-year-old woman driving was released from Fort St. John hospital shortly after being taken in for treatment.

Mounties think alcohol may have been a factor in the crash, but they are still investigating.
