One runway was closed Tuesday evening at the Grande Prairie airport.
This due to a plane having a mechanical issue on the runway.
The incident happened around 7:00 p.m. according to the airport’s social media accounts.
The plane was removed and there was no interruption to other flights as the second runway was used.
According to a passenger, a nose gear tire blew.
