Teen arrested after stolen SUV crashed on city lawn

A teenaged girl was arrested after an SUV crashed on a lawn in the Crystal Landing neighbourhood.

Around 2:30 a.m. Sunday, September 16, there were reports of an SUV driving erratically on Landing Drive and after crashing, area residents took the keys away from the driver.

RCMP say the vehicle had been reported stolen earlier in the week and the 16-year-old was arrested.

The teen faces a charge of possession of property obtained by crime.

She will make a court appearance Monday the 24th.
