Bear sighting in south Grande Prairie

Grande Prairie RCMP say a woman walking her dog saw a bear in the Grand Banks neighbourhood in south Grande Prairie earlier today.

Police were notified at 12:35 p.m.

They add the bear was spotted about 30 metres from the treeline before it ran back into the woods.

Fish and Wildlife has been notified. No other sightings have been reported.
