Traffic light improvements coming to Resources Road/84th avenue intersection

Work begins Monday on improvements to the traffic lights at the intersection of 84th avenue and Resources Road.
 
Included in the work will be the installation of new LED street lights, new pedestrian walk/don’t walk signs and push buttons, as well as new traffic control and power distribution cabinets. 
 
Although the majority of the work will take place off the road, the city is cautioning residents that there may be periodic single lane closures. 
 
The project, which is part of the city’s 2018 Traffic Signal Repair and replacement program, is expected to wrap up by early October.
