RCMP taking threat to High Prairie area high school seriously

An investigation is underway after local RCMP were notified about a threat to a High Prairie area high school last night. 

Police say the threat was posted on social media on September 23 and they took immediate action. Officers were able to identify the post and located the person involved.

RCMP are assuring students, the public and faculty that there is no threat to the school and that they take complaints like this seriously.

RCMP say the parents of the students at the high school involved have been notified of the investigation.
