UPDATE: Power restored north of Grande Prairie

According to ATCO Electric’ s outage map, power has been restored to the north east part of Grande Prairie as well as Clairmont and Sexsmith.

Approximately 4000 customers were impacted.

ATCO says a bird hit a substation causing the outage.
