Local teen on RCMP National Youth Advisory Committee

A local youth has been named to the RCMP National Youth Advisory Committee.

Sixteen-year-old Daelyn Biendarra says she will be sharing her feedback on many topics through a closed to the public Facebook group.

“(It is) Voices from the youth of Canada to help the youth in Canada pretty much, so topics like drugs and bullying and suicide rates, and they want to get opinions from the youth all around Canada through the Facebook group.”

Information received is used when RCMP put together and review its policies, programs, and strategies.
