Semi hits ditch, traffic detoured

Update (8:27 p.m.): The vehicle involved in this collision has been removed from the roadway.  The highway is now clear of any obstructions and open to traffic flow.

Earlier: A semi tractor trailer lost control and hit the ditch causing traffic to detour south of La Glace.

It happened early Sunday evening and Beaverlodge RCMP say no one was hurt but the trailer is blocking both lanes of highway 672 at Range Road 82.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area as traffic is being rerouted to highway 43 and that detour is expected to be in place for hours.
