Dawson Creek RCMP investigating multiple violent incidents

RCMP in Dawson Creek are investigating three separate violent incidents that occurred within three days last week.

Officers believe a drive-by shooting and assault were targeted incidents and there is no risk to the public. They are also investigating a home invasion.  

On Tuesday evening RCMP responding to a shooting complaint in Dawson Creek in the area of 10 Street and 107 Avenue.  A man reported that he thought he was being followed by another vehicle. When he turned his vehicle around it was shot at several times. Thankfully the victim was not hit.

Wednesday morning around 9 a.m. an adult male was found in Rolla on Landry Road and he was suffering from serious injuries. Police believe he was there for some time, possibly overnight.

On Thursday, RCMP received a call of a home invasion at the Hillcrest Motel in Pouce Coupe.  According to police, a victim was assaulted, and a black Dodge truck was stolen from the location. The truck was later found abandoned on Hwy 49 near the Alberta border.

RCMP have not confirmed if all or any of these incidents could be related.
