Partnership announced between Grande Prairie Regional Hospital and Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundations
The Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation is partnering with the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation to bring the Stollery level of care for children closer to the region.
The goal is to raise $1.5 million as a two-year sub-campaign to the regional hospital foundation’s $20 million Key to Care Campaign.
“The one thing that makes it so valuable to our community is that it brings a level of care to our community which we would normally not have.” stated Keith Curtis, Executive Director for the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation. “It allows patients to experience that Stollery level of care in our own community.”
“A lot of times with a regional hospital such as ours, there may be things that our hospital can not do, and a number of kids would be E-vacd to Edmonton.” added Curtis.
