Update: Highway 40 near Wapiti Hill now clear

Update (8:30 a.m.) – Highway 40 near Wapiti Hill is now clear and traffic is moving again. 

(Earlier) –  Motorists can expect delays on Highway 40 this morning due to a motor vehicle collision at Township Road 700.

Both directions of traffic are impacted and are slow moving near Wapiti Hill.

Meantime, a freezing rain warning continues for the region.

It includes Grande Prairie, Wembley Beaverlodge, Sexsmith and the MD of Greenview near DeBolt and Valleyview.
