Nov 28, 2018 | 11:24 AM

A Wembley man already set to stand trial in a drug and weapons case is facing fresh charges.

Grande Prairie RCMP say at 3 p.m. November 22, they pulled over a vehicle during a traffic stop on 116 Street.

A search turned up 1567 pills from different medications, a firearm with ammunition, bear spray, knives, and a billy club. Police also seized $3010.00 in cash.

Trent Douglas Hockett is facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime, and four counts of failure to comply with conditions.

Hockett is also set to stand trial in March after a 2017 arrest after a search at a Wembley home where various drugs and weapons were seized.

He is facing drug, weapons, and possession of stolen property counts in that case.
