Crews in the Town of Peace River have completed their work the 99th Street remediation project.
Back in 2016, parts of the hill on 99th Street began to slide. The slide threatened an apartment block, a business and water and sewer lines.
After eight months of construction, work on two anchored pile walls has been completed.
The project cost the Provincial and Federal governments almost two-million dollars each, and the Town paid the remaining two-point-nine million.
