Dec 19, 2018 | 9:08 AM

Grande Prairie RCMP have charged a man after a stabbing in the city Saturday night.

Just before 11 p.m. Saturday RCMP were called to a stabbing in the area of 100 Street and 93 Avenue.

When police arrived, they found one male with a serious injury and the suspect had fled.

RCMP put out a call to the public for help identifying the suspect and early Tuesday police received a tip that the suspect was at a residence on the east side of the city.  Police went to the home and arrested him without incident.

30-year-old Alexzyander Arthur Ghostkeeper has been charged with Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose.

He has a court date set for January 9, 2019.

Police would like to thank those people that came forward with information regarding this incident.
