Grande Prairie brings in new year with events at Muskoseepi Park

Muskoseepi Park and the Ernie Radbourne Pavilion are expected to be busy tonight.
 
The city will be bringing in the new year with sleigh rides, skating on the pond and hot chocolate at Muskoseepi, and performances in the Auditorium, games,  face painting and hot chocolate at the Pavilion.
 
The events begin at 6:30 p.m. and will wrap up with fireworks over the reservoir at 10 p.m. weather permitting.
 
Parking at Muskoseepi will be limited during the events, and transit special service hours will be in effect.
 
Buses will run from 6 a.m. until 2:15 a.m., with free rides after 6:45 p.m.
