UCP leader to speak in Peace Region next week

United Conservative party leader Jason Kenney will be in the Peace Region next week, speaking to members of the public on what is billed as a “conversation about Alberta’s future”.

Kenney will be hosting events across the region from January 24-26. He will start Thursday at an open house at St Rita’s Community Hall in Valleyview, followed by a luncheon at the Beaverlodge Community Centre. Kenney will close out his Thursday schedule with a dinner at Revolution Place in Grande Prairie.

On the 25th, Kenney will host a breakfast at the Sexsmith Civic Centre, a “Rally for the Peace” in Spirit River, a luncheon at the Dunvegan Inn and Suites in Fairview, as well as a pipeline town hall and dinner in Peace River that evening.

Kenney will conclude his visit to the Peace Region on Saturday, with a town halls in High Level and La Crete in the morning

Grande Prairie UCP candidate Tracy Allard, as well as GP-Wapiti candidate Travis Toews will be on hand for the events in Beaverlodge, Grande Prairie and Sexsmith. Central-Peace Notley candidate Todd Loewen will be at the events in Valleyview, Spirit River and Fairview. Peace River candidate Dan Williams will be at the events in Peace River, High Level and La Crete.
