Electronic dance party in Edmonton sends three to hospital

EDMONTON – Three people were taken to hospital after an electronic dance music party at West Edmonton Mall.
Emergency medical services were called to the Soundwave event at the mall’s waterpark early Sunday morning.
Alberta Health Services says one of the injured was in a potentially life-threatening condition while the other two were in serious condition when they were taken for treatment.
The department has not said what caused their injuries.
