Eight years in jail for Grande Prairie drug dealer
ALERT says a man arrested in two different drug busts has been handed an eight-year prison term.
Khristopher Ali was first arrested in January 2017. Fentanyl, crack cocaine, and methamphetamine were all seized during a search of four homes.
He was picked up again in January 2018. Half a kilogram of cocaine, methamphetamine, pills, and two firearms were among the items seized in an investigation done by ALERT and RCMP in Grande Prairie, Fairview, and Peace River. Police searched a home and vehicle in Fairview.
Alberta Justice says Ali was sentenced on three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking in connection with that first arrest, along with another charge of possession for the purpose of trafficking and a count of failure to comply with condition of undertaking or recognizance in the second bust
Ali’s co-accused in the first case, Robert Kinnon, is due back in Grande Prairie court March 4.
