Early morning fire near Elmworth

At around 8 a.m. this morning, Beaverlodge, Hythe and Wembley fire departments responded to reports of a structure fire. 

The blaze was located six miles southwest of the Hamlet of Elmworth. 

Fire crews found a residential dwelling completely engulfed and began extinguishing the fire upon arrival to the scene

Two additional water tenders were provided by The County’s La Glace and Bezanson fire stations. The tenders transport large volumes of water to the scene and are considered to be specialized firefighting vehicles.
