Wolves Women’s Volleyball falls short against Briercrest

The GPRC Wolves Women’s Volleyball team played their 1st game of Provincials Thursday evening in Calgary as they faced the top ranked team in the South, Briercrest.

It was a tough battle between the two clubs, and an entertaining one for the crowd in attendance in the final match of the day.

However, Briercrest proved why they are one of the top teams in the province as they edged the Wolves in 4 sets, winning 26-24, 25-17, 20-25, and 25-19.

The Wolves will be back on the court for their next contest of Provincials Friday afternoon when they face Ambrose College.
