Development permit approved for crude-by-rail facility

The Town of Wembley says it has approved a development permit for a crude-by-rail facility.
 
Source Energy Services is teaming with Tidewater Midstream for an expansion to the existing Source rail yard.
 
The Town says a number of conditions have been attached to the application, although those are not being made public until the companies have a chance to look at them and to decide what to do next.
 
A post on the Town of Wembley Facebook page says anyone who wants to appeal this decision can do so through the County of Grande Prairie’s Development Appeal Board.
 
In an email to Everything GP, Source Energy Services says it is pleased to see the permit approved, but will not comment further until the entire development process is complete.
