Four charged in Sturgeon Lake drug bust

Valleyview RCMP say four people are facing charges after drugs and weapons were seized during a search at a Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation.
 
The search, done on February 21, turned up 120 grams of methamphetamine, two rifles, ammunition, scales, packaging materials, and $400.
 
Twenty-nine-year-old Brandon Munro, 30-year-old Dana Moses, 34-year-old Jack Goodswimmer, and 21-year-old Sabrina Badger are all facing charges that include possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime, unsafe storage of a firearm, and two counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm.
 
Munro is also facing a trespassing charge, Moses two counts of fail to comply with a firearms probation order, and Goodswimmer a charge of failure to comply with recognizance.
 
Munro will stay in custody until appearing in court March 7, the other three will not have to stay in jail.
