Two agriculture shows coming up
The 34th Foster’s Peace Country Classic Agri-Show will start March 7 at Evergreen Park.
It will run through March 9.
The trade show, Northern Classic Bull sale, horse program, and Peace Country craft show are all back this year.
Kids can also learn to be an auctioneer on Friday, March 8 at 11 a.m. A kid’s auction will follow. Fun money for the auction can be obtained at the ATB booth in exchange for a food bank donation.
The horse program has added some medieval-themed activities this year. It will also host its first-ever skijoring event. It will be called Thunder in the Park and take place at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, March 8 in the Wapiti parking lot near the Lewis Hawkes Pavilion.
March 14 will mark the start of the SARDA Agricultural Trade Show.
It will go from March 14 to 16 at the Regional Recreational Complex in Falher.
One hundred exhibitors will be on hand.
There will also be workshops, seminars, and a farmer appreciation event.
