Province’s corporate tax rate to be cut by 4 percent if elected: Kenney

The leader of Alberta’s Opposition says if elected this spring, there would be a four percent cut in the province’s corporate tax rate.
Jason Kenney says slashing the rate to eight percent over four years is a sure way to help the economy grow.
He also says by 2022, Alberta would have the lowest corporate tax rate in Canada.
Although the tax was hiked two points to 12 percent after the NDP took power in May 2015, the government says Albertans still have the lowest overall tax burden in the country.
