Team Canada suffers 1st loss at the 2019 Brier

Beaverlodge product Geoff Walker and Team Gushue suffered their first loss at the Brier Monday night against a familiar foe.

They dropped a 7-6 decision to Kevin Koe and Team Alberta.

The loss drops Team Canada to 3-1 through three days of the tournament while Alberta is a perfect 4-0.

Team Canada will look to bounce back Tuesday afternoon when they play New Brunswick in their lone game of the day.

Gushue’s rink has won the last two National Championships.
