Midget AA Storm even record at league playoffs

The Peaceland Directional Drilling Midget AA Storm are now 1-and-1 at their Regional Playoff Tournament in Whitecourt after a 3-0 win over Fort McMurray on Friday. 

Lee Lappenbush made 24 saves to earn the shut out, while Keaton Mercredi scored twice to pace the offence, which peppered the Fort McMurray net with 36 shots. 

Brody Thompson also scored for the Storm, who scored twice on the power play. 

They close out their round robin play on Saturday against Peace River, who is also 1-and-1 in the tournament.
