Gladiators MAA athletes enjoy success at World championships

Members of the Gladiators Martial Arts Academy in Grande Prairie are returning home from the CHITF Worls Championships in Australia with a total of 27 medals. 

The medal haul breaks down to 15 gold, 8 silvewr and 4 bronze. 

The number becomes even more impressive when you consider that Canada as a whole won 43 medals in the two day event. 

Of the 27 medals won by Gladiators MAA Athletes, 17 were won in sparing, including 11 gold.
