Peck still trying to complete Iditarod

UPDATE: (3:28 p.m.) Peck arrived at the Elim checkpoint at 1:49 this afternoon Alberta time. He remains in 21st place. There are two more checkpoints after this one before the final stop in Nome. 

 

Aaron Peck is still going at the Iditarod.
 
He was in 21st place when he left the Koyuk checkpoint at 6:45 Alberta time this morning.
 
Alaskan Peter Kaiser won the Iditarod today, arriving in Nome just after 5:30 a.m. Alberta time, nine days and a little under 13 hours after leaving Anchorage.
