Person with measles active in Calgary, Cochrane on Tuesday

Mar 14, 2019 | 2:58 PM

Alberta Health Services says a person with infectious measles was active in 21 different public places in Calgary and Cochrane this month.

On March 12th, the locations included a Cabela’s sporting goods store, the Grub Deerfoot City restaurant, and the Bella Concert Hall at Mount Royal University.

It says people who may have been exposed on the 12th who haven’t had a measles shot should attend an immunization clinic in Brentwood Mall on Friday.

Alberta Health Services says some people who were born after 1970 and have not had measles two doses of the vaccine may be at risk of developing measles.
