Freson Bros. closure also closes Canada Post outlet
Canada Post says the closure of the Southview Freson Bros. grocery store meant it also had to close its outlet location on March 12.
It says in an email to Everything Grande Prairie all of the equipment and products were moved out the same day.
That statement goes on to say that anyone who had a mailbox at that location and still had time left on their rental was given a refund, free mail redirection for one year, and free Change of Address cards.
Canada Post says it is not looking to relocate as there are two other outlets within 2.4 kilometres of the one that closed.
“We apologize to our customers for this sudden turn of events, but we are confident they will continue to be well-served at our other locations,” added Canada Post in that same email.
