Former Storm signs NHL contract

A former member of the Grande Prairie Storm has signed an NHL contract. 

20 year old Jake Elmer, who played in the Swan City during the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons, signed a three year deal on Friday with the New York Rangers. 

The Calgary native, who played the past two seasons with the WHL’s Lethbridge Hurricanes, had 10 goals and 6 assists in 42 career games with the Storm.
