Canadian Janine Beckie scores as Man City advances in Women’s FA Cup

MANCHESTER, England — Canadian international Janine Beckie scored as Manchester City blanked Liverpool on 3-0 Sunday to advance to the SSE Women’s FA Cup semifinals.

After Beckie opened the scoring, Georgia Stanway added a pair for Man City.

In other FA Cup quarterfinals, defending champion Chelsea won 1-0 at Durham, Reading downed visiting Manchester United 3-2 and West Ham, with Canadian international Adriana Leon in the starting lineup, won 1-0 at Aston Villa.

The semifinal draw is set for Monday.
