Grande Prairie rink closing in on U-18 boys provincial curling title

The Cortland Sonnenberg rink from Grande Prairie is one win away from an Optimist provincial U-18 boys curling championship. 

After going 3-0 to win the A event, the Sonnenberg rink, which includes Owen Fenske, Jaxon Hiebert and Adam Elsenheimer, beat Nathan Molberg 4-3 yesterday in the 1/2 page playoff game. 

That advanced them to this afternoon’s final, where they will face the winner of the semi final between Molberg and Nicolas Oake.
