Mar 20, 2019 | 11:49 AM

Grande Prairie’s Schael Higson played his final Junior hockey game Tuesday night.

The veteran blue liner and his Kelowna Rocket squad fell 5-1 in the tie-breaker game in Kamloops which means the club will not be moving on to the post-season.

Higson has played quite a bit of hockey over his WHL career.

In total, the defenceman played 311 regular season games between the Saskatoon Blades, Brandon Wheat Kings and Kelowna Rockets.

During that time, Higson racked up 19 goals and 70 assists.
