The North West Junior Hockey League Final is now a best of three.

The JDA Kings evened up their series with the Fort St.John Huskies Tuesday night with a 6-3 win in Game 4.

Corbin Doram opened the scoring 7:41 into the opening period to break the ice early for the Kings who were flying early in the first period.

They would add to their lead late in the frame on the power play as Louka Richard who pot his 7th of the post-season past Jonathan Bateman to make it 2-0 for the home side.

The man advantage continued to click for the Kings in the middle stanza.

Just 1:58 into the 2nd, Blake Gillingham would convert on the power play for the Kings to make it 3-0, and at the 13:14 mark it would be Wyatt Lawrence netting the 3rd power play goal of the night for the home side.

After Blake Gillingham made it 5-0 Kings, the Huskies would finally get one by Kings goaltender Will McCreight as Chase Gregory slid one into the lower corner of the goal.

That goal seemed to spark the Huskies late in the frame as Gary Loewen scored with 39 seconds left in the period on a similar shot to cut the lead to 5-2.

However, that was as close as the Huskies would come as the teams would trade goals in the 3rd to make it a 6-3 final for the Kings.

The power play proved to be the difference for the home side in Game 4.

The Kings went 3/6 in the win Tuesday night, while Fort St.John was 1/8.

The league final is now tied 2-2 with the series shifting back to Fort St.John on Thursday for a crucial Game 5.
